Great first experience at Irvine's. Customer care (Jamie) is incredibly helpful with helping plan an appointment and making sure that everything is done right. The auto work that is done is top notch and they really care about the condition of your car. Loaner car program is great and sets this place apart from other auto shops in the area.

I discovered Ervine's after moving to Wyoming and needing to find a place I liked and trusted as much as the shop I used on the extreme north side of Grand Rapids. Online feedback and a neighbor sent me to Ervine's and they were exactly what I was looking for. They treat me like a valued customer, explain very clearly what needs to be done (and why) when I bring it in, present me with options, give me a logical recommendation based on those options, and provide a free loaner car if I need it. When my old battery died recently, the owner came to my house and gave me a jump so I could get it to the shop without a towing charge. I can't imagine what else could be asked for. Nobody likes having to bring their car to an auto repair shop and having to spend the money to fix whatever the problem might be, but the folks at Ervine's make it as painless as possible. My only tiny wish would be for coffee that's not decaf ;)

After the mechanic that I was using (who I was very happy with) moved far enough out of town to no longer be convenient, I was in despair of finding another mechanic of that quality. The first time I needed Ervine's was when I was replacing the battery in my Forester and apparently (despite checking twice) connected it backwards and fried a few things. It was a Sunday afternoon and after picking Ervine's because of the great reviews (and it also didn't hurt that they are about 1/2 mile from my office!) I called, expecting to leave a message for a callback. Imagine my surprise when a human being (the fantastic Jamie) answered the phone on the 2nd ring! I had my car towed over, Eric called me early Monday morning with the estimate, and I had the car back by lunchtime. That was over a year ago, and I've used Ervine's a number of times since then both for my Forester and my wife's Saturn, and I've been VERY pleased every time. Every time I call, Jamie makes me feel like I'm the most important customer they have, and as other reviews have mentioned, Ervine's does NOT try to tack on extra services that you don't need to inflate the bill.

My husband and I are loyal customers having them work on both of our vehicles multiple times. Every time the staff is very friendly, the service is excellent and the price is fair. They also send annual rebate checks for customer loyalty and have the 'loaner car' service as well for no additional fee, which has helped us out quite a bit. I know that when our cars need any work done, we will be coming back to Ervine's!

I had a great experience at Ervine's. I know very little about my car beyond turning it on, so I was relieved when the staff were willing to spend extra time explaining to me exactly what is going on and helping me to be an informed consumer. I also appreciated that they are not trying to sell something-- I did not actually need the repair that the dealership had told me to IMMEDIATELY deal with, and the folks at Ervine's were willing to tell me that when they could have made a buck doing the repair. The visit was so painless I even got to run errands while I was waiting using one of their fabulous loaner cars. Thank you so much!

There are FANTASTIC. Excellent quality work and wonderful staff terrib, BYRON CENTER I really like that I am able to get an appointment that same day that I call. They have a loaner car available and if it isn't available they give me a ride back to work and come pick me up when it is finished. Everyone is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I am impressed with the quality work and they take time to check other maintenance/vital parts that may need to be fixed. I really appreciate that because I don't want to find out the hard way by being broke down on the side of the road. I can't say enough good about Ervine's. I would recommend them to everyone.

My car needed a lot of work and being relatively new to the area, I had to rely on online reviews. Ervine's got great feedback, so I made an appointment through their website. I was contacted almost immediately and scheduled very quickly. The repairs took a few days, but with the free loaner it was no big deal. They explained everything to me, helped me prioritize which repairs to do first, and Jamie even entertained my 5-year-old while I spent 10 minutes on the phone with my bank to get my payment to go through. I may have been able to find someplace a little cheaper, but you can't pay for the excellent customer service at Ervine's. The lobby is clean, has fresh coffee, and is very professional. As a woman I've been intimidated going into car shops but I never felt that way at Ervine's. I'll definitely be returning.

Eric was very helpful in diagnosing my problem, explaining the issue in detail, and presenting me with a loaner car to get my work completed. I was also very impressed by the cleanliness of Ervines. Will Return.

After having a few overpriced and unfriendly services performed through a dealership, we decided it was time to look for a new mechanic. Checking the Google reviews, Ervines had over 40 AWESOME customer reviews. We thought we would give them a try, and we're thrilled to say the reviewers didnt lie. From the minute I stepped in, Jamie's (the office manager) helpful personality put me at ease. We received an estimate for service that was almost half what was quoted at the dealership. The service was performed the next day and the car was ready to roll that afternoon. Additional work will be needed on the car and Eric has taken a great amount of time with us explaining things. We have every trust and confidence in Ervine's and are thrilled to talk about our new mechanic.

We were looking for a place to fix our van that was affordable, available & quick. We also needed a loaner car in the meantime - for car-pooling the kids to school. Ervine's was great! The woman at the front desk, Jamie, was extremely helpful, even dropping me off at my house so she could drive our van back to the shop when a loaner car wasn't available until that evening. Thank you! We will be coming back for our car needs!
